My book of gratitude.

I’m often asked “how do I stay so positive” and in truth, I’m not always sunshine and rainbows but I do love my life and in this month’s blog, I thought it would be fun to show you where the source of my power comes from. Drum roll, please…

Gratitude.

Today is a great day to be grateful for:

The sun
The planet.
health.
home.
love.
family.
friends.
transportation.
art.
Clean running water.
Food to eat.
computers.
cellphones.
Indoor plumbing.
clothes.
contact lenses.
glasses.
baby photos of my nieces and nephews.
Chapstick.
shoes.
pencil crayons.
colouring books.
supporters.

Every week I make a list similar to this one of things or experiences I’m grateful for because it puts me in a state of appreciation. When I take the time to articulate what I’m grateful for the universe sends me more of it.

This simple but often overlooked exercise can transform your life. If you don’t have one already get a journal and call it your book of gratitude. In it write down anything and everything that you feel makes your life better. As you can see from my list nothing is too small or too big.

The secret to having it all is believing you already do and my book of gratitude helps me to remember just how blessed I am. I hope this tip helps you as much as it does me. Thank you so much for reading.
